School News

Bridgeport Book Bears!

On March 26th, our Bridgeport Book Bear team participated in the MCIU Reading Olympics. They participated against surrounding schools, answering tough comprehension questions on 25 books they read. We are so very proud of them for representing Bridgeport Elementary for the first time in a while!

Olympian Returns!

In December, Ariana Ramsey, a bronze medalist for the USA Rugby team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, came and spoke with our 2nd graders at Bridgeport Elementary. She grew up in Bridgeport and is a UMAHS & Dartmouth College grad who is related to one of our own 2nd grade Bears. She also brought in her bronze medal to show them! An inspiration and role model!!
